Where do we make the Funky Furniture...?

corris-rain.gifWe make our  Funky Forest Furniture in Corris which is officially the second wettest place in Europe. It certainly takes some getting used to although we are surrounded by Tree's and they do Love the Rain.
We have a gallery and workshop in the Corris Craft Centre where we set up in 2005.
Situated in The Snowdonia National Park wrapped in by Woodlands and the panoramic Cadair Idris Mountain Range.

So we started using invasive tree species which are prolific and taking over indigenous forests all over the show to start Eco-friendly Woodland Furniture.

Reclaimed Recycled chunky rustic garden benchAt this stage we were lucky enough to have been commissioned to custom-make outdoor garden furniture for Nelson Mandela (which is quite ironic since his tribal name "Rolihlahla" means gatherer of sticks) when Alan Titchmarsh and his Groundforce Team came to South Africa to landscape and celebrity make-over his garden in The Traskei of the Eastern Cape.
